Terrie Sapronetti serves as the Executive Vice President of Underwriting and is a Partner at Avalon Risk Management. As a licensed insurance broker with over 40 years of insurance industry experience, Terrie is one of Avalon’s founding members. Over the years, she has served in various positions on both the agency and the MGA side of the insurance business and has unparalleled experience in all facets of the logistics risk management niche.
In her current role, she develops relevant insurance and surety products for distribution and also oversees all underwriting functions of the business which are handled by Avalon’s sister company Knight Transportation Insurance Services, LLC (KTIS). Terrie has held past positions with the Harbor Transportation Club, including Secretary, Vice President, President, and Chairman of the Board as well as Secretary and Treasurer of the Marine Underwriters Association of Southern California. She is an active member in the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), Women on Course and Express Carriers Association.
When not working Terrie is always in search of a new beach destination somewhere in the world. The Maldives, so far, has been her favorite.
