Avalon Risk Management is a proud sponsor of TIA and its vision to continue to be the leading provider of resources and education to the third-party logistics industry. “We recognize that ongoing learning and professional development are crucial for success in today’s evolving business world,” states Lisa Vranich, Avalon’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “By supporting the CTB Program, our goal is to foster the growth and success of individuals in the 3PL industry.” We proudly support TIA's Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) Program by providing two scholarships to deserving individuals to further their education. The scholarship covers the registration of the online study course and the three CTB Exam sections.

The CTB Program offers transportation and freight brokerage professionals the highest broker certification that exists in the industry and is the most widely recognized designation among 3PLs. The CTB curriculum is designed to increase business acumen, improve operational and sales skills, and better manage risk. The comprehensive program challenges the learner across the landscape of the 3PL operational spectrum to create a more informed and valuable employee.

Avalon is happy to announce Mike Beckwith and Aimee Wisniewski as the 2024 Trimester 2 CTB Scholarship winners.
