Customs & Border Protection (CBP) has released Phase 1 of the modernization of the ACE Portal. Per CSMS Message #50752966, the enhancements included a new login screen, a new home page, and upgraded account information display and edit features.
According to a CBP webinar held last week, the Phase 1 rollout was meant to give users time to get accustomed to the new Portal and to implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) during the login process.
It is important to note that the new ACE Portal currently has no functionality. If users need to perform a task in ACE, they should utilize the legacy system. CBP requests that all users log into their ACE accounts through the new Portal. Beginning February 20, 2022, users will no longer be able to log in from the legacy page.
CBP has several resources to assist ACE users. There is a dedicated page on CBP's website, which includes information on Phase 1 and a Quick Reference Guide. This guide includes instructions and screenshots covering several topics to familiarize you with the new Portal. We encourage you to review the guide, which you can access here.

We will keep you informed as CBP rolls out additional phases.
