Lisa Vranich is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Avalon Risk Management. She was one of the first employees of Avalon, opening the Atlanta regional office in 1998. Prior to her current role, she was Regional Vice President of Avalon Risk Management’s Charleston office where she managed the company’s sales and operations efforts in the Southeastern US. She earned her insurance license in 1995 and has been providing surety and insurance solutions to the domestic and international logistics community for over 28 years.
In her current role she is tasked with implementing and managing Avalon’s nationwide sales and marketing strategies and initiatives. Lisa has extensive experience working with Freight Brokerage operations and has strong product knowledge in the areas of Professional Liability, Shipper’s Interest Cargo Insurance, Warehouse Insurance, Contingent Cargo and Freight Broker Liability. Lisa serves on the Programs Committee for the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) and is active in various trade associations such as the Council for Supply Chain Management and Broker and Forwarder Associations in Atlanta and Charleston. She has a B.A. in Journalism and Sociology from Miami University, and she also holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
When not working or on the road for Avalon, you can find Lisa honing her amateur photography skills, in her garden at home or boating around Charleston with her family.
