Jodie Maher is a Senior Account Executive at Avalon’s Central Regional office. She joined Avalon when the doors first opened in 1998, and while she left for a period of time to be a stay-at-home mom, she has been back with the Avalon team for over 10 years. When she returned to Avalon, she worked in our National Accounts department as an administrative assistant was promoted to an Account Manager. Jodie then moved into an Assistant Account Executive role in our Central office.
Jodie enjoys all aspects of the sales process and building strong relationships with clients. She has a true passion to continue to educate herself and pass along her knowledge to clients for them to make the most informed decision for their company’s insurance needs. Jodie is actively involved in various associations including Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), Chicago Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association (CCBFA), Detroit Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association (DCBFA), International Association of Chicago Air Cargo (IACAC, and Traffic Club of Chicago (TCC).
Jodie is a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and enjoys cooking for her family. She enjoys spending time with them and enjoys staying active by running, lifting weights, and exploring new places through travel.
