Christie Brush is the Vice President of Avalon’s Southern Regional office. Christie joined Avalon in 2007 with a strong background in risk management for the logistics industry. With over 30 years of experience, her expertise includes Bonds, Cargo Insurance, and Professional Liability Insurance.
Christie began her career at Avalon as a Senior Account Executive to help build Avalon’s sales efforts in the south. As Vice President, she continues to build strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
Christie has earned the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Transportation Broker (CTB). Christie shares her vast knowledge as she is regularly asked to be a panelist at industry conferences. She is an active member of various associations, including ITMA, HCBFFA, IFFCBANO, and TIA. Christie has also served on the Board of the International Transportation Management Association (ITMA) in Houston in various positions, including Hospitality Director, Secretary, Vice President, and President.
During her downtime, Christie enjoys spending time with her husband, playing racquetball, and seeing her eight grandchildren.
