Andrea Lanouette Vice President - Client Relationships, Western Region
Andrea Lanouette is the Vice President of Avalon’s Western Regional office and is responsible for the overseeing the region’s operations and account management team. Andrea began working for Avalon in September 2005 as the Regional Operations Manager for the Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Avalon, she worked in senior management for multiple insurance brokerages.
Andrea began her insurance career underwriting U.S. Customs Bond and Marine Cargo Insurance risks in 1985, since then she has been involved in all aspects of insurance agency production. With more than 25 years of experience in the international transportation insurance arena, she has a broad knowledge of Avalon's products and services, as well as the needs of Avalon's customers.
Andrea is actively involved in the trade community and works closely with the Los Angeles Air Cargo Association currently serving as 1st Vice President and Membership Chair since 2013, the Transportation Intermediary Association where she serves on the TIA Airfreight and International Logistic Conference Committee, the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce for the World Trade Week Committee, and Educational Committee. She is also active in the following associations: Los Angeles Customs Brokers & Freight Forwarders Association, the Foreign Trade Association, the San Diego Customs Brokers Association, and Women in International Trade, Los Angeles, and Orange County Chapters.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoys being with her husband and son, dinners with friends, participating in a traveling book club, as well as weekly workouts at a local Pilates studio.
